We plant
trees and woodland across Yorkshire

We protect
our planet and help us adapt to climate change

We provide
a healthier environment for communities, businesses & wildlife

We work with landowners, farmers and communities to plant trees across North and West Yorkshire. Every tree planted in North and West Yorkshire helps to grow the White Rose Forest and improve our natural environment.

Action Plan

Our White Rose Forest Action Plan has set planting targets for North and West Yorkshire between 2021 and 2025.

What we do

The White Rose Forest is the community forest for North and West Yorkshire. We work with communities, landowners and farmers to plant trees where they are needed the most.

We are experts in woodland creation. Our team is here to provide free support for the planning, funding and planting of new woodland creation projects of all sizes.

Where we are

All woodland in North and West Yorkshire is part of the White Rose Forest. We are the largest of England’s thirteen community forests and part of the Northern Forest that will stretch from Liverpool to the Yorkshire coast.
